About Erie

Erie, Pennsylvania is a small city with many of the conveniences of any of the largest cities around. Presque Isle State Park offers 14- miles of beaches, biking, world-class fishing (and ice fishing!), boating, water skiing, canoeing, hiking trails, paved trails, a nature center, picnic areas and absolutely gorgeous sunsets. We have many of the big name restaurants along with many specialty taverns, one of the largest shopping complexes in northwest Pennsylvania, nearby snow skiing, AA baseball, the Erie Seawolves, and a professional hockey league, the Erie Otters. We have four major universities and colleges located among a variety of churches, theatres and cultural events all year long. We’re also located roughly two hours from Cleveland, OH; Buffalo, NY; and Pittsburgh, PA.

Northwest Regional Technology Institute is easily accessible from eastern Ohio and western New York from I-90. If you’re coming from the south, I-79 will lead you right into Erie. For driving directions to NRTI, HERE.
